Mókus Suli Erdészeti Erdei Iskolát (Squirrel Forest School) was established in 1995, near town of Pécs, Hungary. Since March 1996 it runs daily environmental education and outdoor learning programmes for schools. In 2010 accommodation facility was built that makes week-long programmes also possible. The forest school was established and is being operated by Mecsekerdő Zrt., a forest management company that believes environmental education, education for sustainability and practical nature conservation are important duties tasks. Forest schools for visiting children and adults to provide an opportunity to get to know wildlife in the woodlads of Mecsek and Zselic as well as sustainable forestry management.
