The training will focus on the role of values, competencies and scientific understanding to support sustainable behaviour change. You will participate in a series of practical activities that allow you to explore your outdoor learning activities and reflect on what is good practice. The course is based on a new model and planning tool for outdoor learning that supports the integration of values, competencies and scientific understanding into outdoor learning.
A one day training course for practitioners/providers.
The Real World Learning Network and the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC) are offering a one day training course designed to enable you to plan and deliver more effective outdoor learning for sustainable development.
The training will inspire and empower you to get more out of your outdoor activities, help you develop your programme ideas and support you in rethinking how outdoor learning takes place.

The training is suitable for all outdoor providers - the course will have a special focus on encouraging reflective practice amongst staff and developing an ethic of personal self-improvement.
Participants will be supported with free access to resources developed by the Real World Learning Network.
Cost: £25 including lunch, breaks and all resources.
Date: 28th October, 10am to 4pm.
