Think tank "Children friendly" has been developed by the NGO "Education and support for Latvia's families" as a platform for sharing child-friendly practices in the education, childcare and society. It has been established by health care, education and social field professionals to advocate, promote and develop high quality child-friendly environment, services, practices and policies for families with children. This is achieved by consulting policy developers, by providing trainings and workshops for educators and parents,giving speeches and leading workshops in public events, advocating child friendly practice in mass media- radio, TV, internet portals and press media. One of our priorities is to promote and create possibilities for children to spend more quality time outdoors both in and out if education institutions that are essential for children health and environmental awareness.
