The Centre for Environmental Activities “Źródła” (Ośrodek Działań Ekologicznych “Źródła”) is a non-profit organization with a mission to educate students, teachers and the general public about environmental issues, and to expand their capacity to act for a more sustainable Poland. “Źródła” was founded in 1993 and registered in 1997. It is now a leading organization in Poland dealing with environmental education, including culture and global issues and education for sustainable development. “Źródła” runs a centre of environmental education in Łódź, has its branches in Warsaw, Kraków and Silesia Region and also organizes outdoor education through “green schools” throughout the whole Poland. We hope to establish the on-going cooperation with similar organizations from other countries.
